Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using BudgetPal: Money Manager ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

BudgetPal is a personal budget and money management app that allows you to track your expenses, income, account balances, and budgets. The app is designed as a personal record-keeping tool. BudgetPal is available as a free version and as a Pro version with additional features.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using BudgetPal, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the app.

3. Free and Pro Versions

BudgetPal is available in two versions:

• Free Version - includes all core budgeting and tracking features. The free version displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
• Pro Version - an optional paid upgrade that unlocks premium features and removes all advertisements. The Pro upgrade is available as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Prices for the Pro version are displayed in the app and may vary by region. All purchases are processed by the respective app store and are subject to their terms and refund policies.

4. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The app integrates third-party services to provide advertising (free version only), analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management. These services include Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and RevenueCat. By using the app, you acknowledge that these services may collect certain data as described in our Privacy Policy. Each service operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

5. User Responsibilities

When using the app, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes.
• Be solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
• Maintain the security of your device to protect your financial data.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app or its source code without authorization.
• Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the app.

6. No Financial Advice

BudgetPal is a record-keeping and budgeting tool only. The app does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, tax guidance, or any other professional financial services. You should consult a qualified financial professional for any financial decisions. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on the information displayed in the app.

7. Data and Content

All data you enter into BudgetPal is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of your data. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your financial data on external servers.

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. The app does not currently provide cloud backup functionality. Data may be permanently lost if you uninstall the app, reset your device, or if your device is damaged or lost.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, graphics, interface, and code, is the intellectual property of the BudgetPal developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

BudgetPal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of calculations or data displayed by the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the BudgetPal developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all data stored by the app on your device will be permanently deleted. If you have an active Pro subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to avoid future charges.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected within the app. Your continued use of the app after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
